Week 2

This week I played more DS games with my daughters. They got two new games called Princess Peach and Ice Age II. Princess Peach is a fun game that is similar to the adventures of Mario that I played when I was growing up. I like this type of game. The goal is to save Mario, Luigi, and others from evil. Princess Peach is the game that I often caught my girls playing, even at bedtime. It is easy for children to advance through the levels of the game, but it is still challenging enough to keep their interest. Ice Age II is more difficult than Princess Peach to understand. It takes a couple of tries to figure out what the players are supposed to do. The characters of the movie switch when you step on a portal and they have different ways of collecting the tokens. It is a timed game, so this was a little frustrating for my girls as well as myself. I found it difficult to advance through to the next level, but that is also what makes it so addicting.
